Hi, I’m Charlie.

I work in DevOps, where I spend my time managing large-scale infrastructure. It’s interesting work, but I find that I enjoy technology a lot more when I can get my hands dirty with it.

Whether it’s building DIY Companion—a small app to help with home projects—or tinkering with servers in my basement, I’ve always preferred building things over just maintaining them.

What to expect here

This site is pretty simple. It’s just a place for me to write down what I’m working on:

• Homelab: Notes on my home server setup, automation, and self-hosted services.
• Photography: Just some photos I take when I’m out and about.
